April 2022 - Maunakea ʻElepaio
45% of proceeds will go bird conservation organiztions.
This juvenile Maunakea ʻelepaio was first photographed back in 2018. ʻElepaio were chosen for the month of April because it is the time of year when they are at ther most active. It is peak breeding season for all three species of 'elepaio and their little gym shoe squeaks can be heard all throughout our Hawaii's native forests.
